To make every child a conscious subject of his own growth.
A child is as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value. Education can alone cause it to reveal its treasurers, and enable mankind to benefit there from.
Grow with learning.
One of the principles that has guided the establishment of the school is that education should deal with the holistic development of the child. Education is not only academic learning, but is a continuous and creative process. Its aim is to develop the capacities latent in human nature and to coordinate their expression for the enrichment and progress of humanity. Blossoms School gives importance to the intellectual, social, artistic and moral development of children.
Many psychologists believe that the first five years of life are the most important ones because it is during this period that the foundation of a child's personality, character, attitudes and values are laid. Children in this age group have their own unique characteristics. They are eager to explore the world around them and discover the reality of things from their own perspective. Blossoms School focuses on cultivating and harmonizing these capacities in each child.
Through scientific and human education, we help children to take charge of their own learning and become conscious subjects of their growth. They learn to investigate the reality of all things by developing the skills of observation, experimentation, analysis and divergent thinking. Education imparted at Blossoms School is not limited to book learning alone. The students learn how to co-operate with each other and learn.
Our aims and approaches are inspired by the teachings of the Baha'i Faith. The teachings of the Baha'i Faith represent a renewal of the teachings of all the world's great religions and upholds the principles of the oneness of humanity, the equality of the sexes and the harmony of science and religion.
The writings of the Baha'i Faith describe one's development as having two aspects, spiritual and material. These are as two wings of a bird, both must be developed for one to advance and develop, for flight is impossible with one wing alone. The Baha'i writings also describe the individual as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value that only education can reveal and allow society to benefit there from.
